February, 2014

As you may recognize, if you have visited our site recently, we have revamped our web site to include all of our musical endeavours as well as our 1812 CD and shows. Thanks to everyone who made the last 2 years of 1812 concerts and festivals so memorable!

If you are a promoter or agent and would like to see a listing of past gigs, this information is available upon request by contacting us. We decided to focus on upcoming activities and events in this section so please check it often. There's always something bound to be happening.

Same Latitude As Rome is currently in songwriting and recording mode for our new project - either a CD or EP to be entitled "Early Days". This project will include our best songs from our Canadiana/roots repertoire. If you have heard SLAR or myself as a solo artist perform outside of our 1812 show, you may have heard some of these songs. "Song for Louis Riel", "Song for David Thompson" and "Cypress Hills Massacre" are a few of the titles that we will be producing on the new album.

I have a few songwriter gigs coming up in February that I will mention:

Feb 12 - Guelph Regional Writers Group of the Songwriters Association of Canada; Guelph

Feb 15 - Winterfolk/Songwriters Unite; Toronto

Feb 19 - Nashville Songwriters Association International/Moonshine; Oakville

Feb 20 - Southern Ontario Songwriting Competition; Fergus
